- A Palmer College of Chiropractic graduate who grew up right here in Ames. After finishing high school in Ankeny, he came home to serve the families and community he grew up in.

Dr. Gavin Smith, DC
Dr. Gavin Smith grew up in Ames and finished high school in Ankeny, Iowa. His story began immediately after he was born, when he was whisked away from his family and transported across state lines, where he spent two weeks in the NICU. That early experience gave his family firsthand insight into how stressful those first moments of life can be and how important the nervous system is for lifelong health.
Dr. Sarah Smith, DC
Dr. Sarah Smith grew up in Ankeny, Iowa, balancing sports, horses, and Cyclone pride while managing recurring health issues like ear infections, allergies, strep throat, and anxiety-related reflux. After years on medication, chiropractic care finally helped her get off the allergy and reflux meds she’d relied on for over a decade. That experience gave her a clear sense of purpose and set her on the path to becoming a chiropractor herself.
